This product is made by the Karen Tribe of Chiang Mai, Thailand, are renowned for their exceptional silver craftsmanship — a tradition passed down through generations and deeply woven into their cultural identity.

Karen silversmiths are known for using high-purity silver, often between 95% and 99.9% pure, which is higher than the standard 92.5% sterling silver. They work entirely by hand, without the use of modern machinery. Every piece is hand-hammered, carved, and stamped, making each item unique — a testament to slow, mindful creation.

They employ traditional repoussé and chasing techniques, where designs are raised or indented from the surface using small handmade tools. Their motifs often include tribal patterns, nature symbols, geometric designs, and animal totems — all echoing their spiritual beliefs and connection to the natural world.
